About Alena
Alena has sewing in her blood and her family! Her aunt, who had her own dressmaking salon, taught her how to sew. The era and glory of Czechoslovak salons fascinate and inspire her. She also gained experience during a practical course with the Czech futurist designer Ivana Kaňovská.
She is responsible for design, pattern making, alterations, and tailoring.
Our family sewing studio is located in Milín, near Příbram. Visits can be arranged by prior arrangement over the telephone.

About Veronika
Veronika discovered her love for Japan already in 2006 thanks to the martial art of jiu-jitsu. She currently practices aikido under the guidance of Ondřej Malina. She is also a member of the Nihontó Kenkyukai, a society devoted to the study of Japanese swordsmanship.
She is responsible for strategy, operations, and business. In addition, she also leads
the #purplyworkshop.

One space, just the two of us, basic equipment, and our desire and creativity, this is our studio and our world.
From the very beginning we decided to step aside from the large volume and commercial processing.
Instead we have been creating models as one of a kind pieces.

NATURE AND HARMONY
We work with natural fibres, specifically brocades, silk, and wool. It is only thanks to them them we can feel truly comfortable throughout the day. When the model wears out and can't be rapaired, the fabric breaks down in nature.
